Because, marble is a very soft and sensitive stone wich requires special attention to maintenace and cleaning products.

It is not the best choice for a kitchen floor or kitchen countertop. If one is in love with the beauty, feel and look of marble and insists on using it in in the kitchen, a good understanding of the marble properties and care procedures are a must.

This particular marble floor had years of wear and tear.

It had to be restored completly by grinding all the lippage, honing and polishing.

The job was completed by the application of a penetrating sealer.

Customer was given instructions and the appropriated cleaning for the daily cleaning and long term maintence of the marble floor.
